GLOBAL NEWS OPPORTUNITY TO PRAY: Tunisia
"In Tunisia, evangelical Christians number approximately one-tenth of one percent. Though the constitution guarantees freedom of religion, it also states that Islam is the 'religion of the state.' Tunisian Muslims who leave Islam to follow Jesus face persecution from family, friends, and the community, and the opposition sometimes turns violent. These new believers often experience loneliness and have few opportunities for fellowship and worship with other Christians. (via Frontline Missions)" Source: Frontline Missions.

Way to Pray:  Please pray for grace for our sisters and brothers in Tunisia to stand for Christ in these difficult circumstances.
MISSIONARY HIGHLIGHT: Joy Anglea

The Lord called Joy into missions in 1996, after working as a family physician for 13 years in Greenville and while a member at Fellowship Greenville. She first served as a missionary on the island of Guam, reaching into Micronesia with medical mission teams, until she was called to serve as the Medical Director at the home office of Baptist Mid-Missions in Cleveland, OH. She has a variety of ministries, including organizing medical mission teams to various countries, assisting missionaries with their health needs, and serving on the crisis management team for the mission family.

Also, if you are a nurse and are looking to serve internationally, Joy needs nurses for an upcoming medical mission trip to Cambodia. For more information, check out her recent newsletter.

Way to Pray: Pray for God’s wisdom in advising missionaries with significant health challenges. Pray for God’s direction in planning future medical mission trips. Pray as I balance work/ministry with caring for my mother’s health needs.

OPPORTUNITY: to Attend

Held in lieu of Piedmont Women's Center Banquet, Night for Life with guest speaker Abby Johnson is a new opportunity for former and new supporters to gather and celebrate life as a community. The event begins at 7pm on Thursday, March 5th. The doors will open at 6:30pm. Check out their website for more information.

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE: Safe Harbor

Safe Harbor exists to provide a continuum of services for victims of domestic violence and their children as well as seek to eliminate cultural acceptance of domestic violence through a coordinated community response, prevention, and education. They rely on individual volunteers and groups of volunteers who partner with their staff as they carry out their mission.
