Deacon Changes at Fellowship Greenville

We believe that Deacons play an important role at Fellowship Greenville. Deacons work alongside and under the direction of the Elders serving as assistants to the Elders and pastors, helping meet the church's practical needs so elders can focus on prayer, teaching, and spiritual oversight.

The Elders are proposing the following changes:

• From a Deacon board to Deacon teams
• From Deacons being elected by the church to Deacons being selected by the Elders
• From Deacons being men only to men and women Deacons.
