Connections Coordinator

Main Objective: To develop and lead intentional pathways that ensure every guest and attendee feels seen, welcomed, and connected, driving their journey from their first visit to full engagement at Fellowship Greenville.

Job Description:
  • Assist the Connections Pastor in the development of clear and healthy guest integration and next steps processes
  • Maintain accurate and complete records within the church management system to track and assist individuals through their spiritual growth from guest to member to fully engaged, ensuring that individuals are not falling through the cracks
  • Manage the processing of potential volunteers interested in serving with Connections and walking them through the onboarding process
  • Coordinate the training of, scheduling of, and caring for the Connections serving team members
  • Curate the “In The Know” weekly volunteer publication
  • Ensuring that the Next Steps web page is up to date with all upcoming events
  • Partner with the Connections staff to ensure quality, connection opportunities, including but not limited to Starting Point, Membership Class, and Group Connect experiences 
  • Assist Event Support staff with coordination and support of events as needed
  • Other functions or duties as assigned by the supervisor
Critical Skills: Effective leader with strong attention to detail, processes, and procedures; ability to create and maintain an excellent atmosphere for all who are a part of the ministry; task-oriented with strong administration, communication, and organization, with a heart to serve; computer-savvy with the ability to learn, understand, and use computer applications.

Job Status: Full time, 40+ hours including weekends and occasional evenings
