KIDS Ministry

We have two avenues through which we engage elementary kids, from kindergarten through 5th grade:

  • Sunday morning programming—offered for all children during the Sunday morning worship service
  • Event childcare—offered during select Bible studies and events for registered children; prior registration is required

Our elementary programming is fun, relevant, and packed with Biblical truth. Kids are engaged through small groups and large group service. The story of God reveals the character of God. Each service is organized around key Bible stories that help kids discover Jesus and reflect His character to the world around them. During the elementary years, we want kids to understand three basic truths.

  • I need to make the wise choice. So I will... trust and follow Jesus, spend time getting to know God, do whatever God says, and discover God’s unique plan for my life.
  • I can trust God no matter what. Because... he is my Creator, he is my Father, he is my Guide, and he is my Savior.
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated. So I will... show God’s love to those around me, care enough to put others before me, respect whoever God puts over me, and be the right friend to those beside me.

Partnering with Parents

We believe parents are the greatest influence in their kids' lives, and parents are in the best position to help their kids know God. We also believe that as a church we can uniquely equip and partner with parents along the way. With this in mind, we offer opportunities for us to partner together in raising the next generation.

Start Here—Do you have a child who is beginning to ask questions and think about what a relationship with Jesus looks like? This presentation, designed for both parents and kids, will help you to begin a conversation with your children about following Jesus.

Grow—A 30-minute presentation, designed for kids and parents, to help kids understand how they can step into owning their faith as they GROW in their relationship with Jesus through Bible time, prayer, worship, and serving.

Stepping-In—A class discussing what baptism is and is not, and what it means to a Christ-follower. These are offered on Sunday mornings several times throughout the year and provide a fun and interactive environment to learn what baptism is and what it looks like to share your faith story.
