|01| Hearing (Mark 4:1-25)

We begin our summer series entitled, "Kingdom Parables: Keep Looking Until You See". Jesus came to teach about how the Kingdom of God is at work in the world, and this was so radically different from anything anyone had ever heard. He spoke through many parables during His ministry on earth, because parables have the potential to challenge the way we typically think about God, life, and faith. In a parable, Jesus doesn't make all the connections for us. We're left to figure it out on or own. The only way to understand a parable is to keep looking until you see and to keep listening until you hear. This message focuses on The Parable of the Sower. This parable is about parables, the illustration that explains what it means to see, but not see and to hear, but not understand and change.
