Bible Study Basics

Do you wish that doing your Bible devotions felt more like a date than a duty? The Bible Study Basics class this fall beginning on Wednesday evening, September 9th called “Study Guides” is a great next-step for anyone desiring to increase their ability to read and interpret Scripture with delight.

In this 10-week class, you will learn to employ two fundamental reading strategies that will enable you to slow down and dig deeper into the treasury of Scripture. A Bible “Study Guide” is simply an aid, oral or written, which provides a map of the big picture and helps you navigate through the difficult passages to discover the essential truths inside.

For ten weeks we will trek across the grand narrative of God’s salvation story from Genesis to Revelation providing you with some valuable mapping and interpreting tools to help you become more conversant with all of God's Word. As you become more familiar with the literary, historical, and theological aspects of Scripture, God’s Word will become more meaningful and delightful!
