“Conversations With Christ”

Christian discipleship is an invitation to walk with Jesus to observe how he thinks, speaks, and acts in various situations with all sorts of people so the disciple can learn to live like Jesus. We will look at several conversations Jesus had with people across the demographic spectrum to better understand how we can relate to people from various backgrounds. We will study Jesus’ conversations which were full of grace and truth so that our own conversations will be full of grace and truth.

This study series will begin on Wednesday, January 10th at 7:00 pm in Room 177. Before diving into the “Conversations with Christ” on week 2, Clayton Allen will use the first week to give an “Introduction to the Bible.” This presentation is for anyone who is new to Christianity or wants to begin reading Scripture but does not yet know much about the Bible. We will discuss how the books of the Bible are arranged, its history, and its overall message and themes. The goal is to give new Bible readers a foundation for understanding what they are reading relative to each book’s historical, literary, and theological context.

* Class started on January 10th, but you are welcome to join in at any time.
