If your answer is “yes” to any of these questions, this volunteer opportunity may be just right for you! BECOME A VOLUNTEER TUTOR FOR A CHILD IN FOSTER CARE. You will participate in discussing the foster care system. And you’ll dive deeper into : trauma informed-care the education system special education awareness expectations in tutoring resources for you as a tutor After training, you will go through a comprehensive background check. Once you begin tutoring, Fostering Great Ideas will support you monthly. Consider this opportunity if you can commit to one school year of weekly tutor support for a student in foster care at their foster placement.
