"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble". Psalm 46:1
"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land". 2 Chronicles 7:14
The Prayer Team is actively looking for individuals who would like to minister to our congregation by meeting with those who need prayer following the Sunday services. Volunteers are on duty once a month for one service. At this time, we particularly have a need for the following weeks/services: 1st Sunday/2nd Service, and 3rd Sunday/2nd Service. If you are interested in serving with the Prayer Team, please contact Rebecca Cooke at 864-385-3368 or rcooke@fellowshipgreenville.org.
Please pray for these other requests:

"Though Uzbekistan has long been a highly restricted country, its government has made incremental reforms in religious freedom in recent years. This improvement, with unity among believers across several Christian denominations and a focus on training and equipping Christian leaders, is a positive development for the small number of Uzbek churches and Christians. Though restrictions on churches and Christian organizations have eased, evangelism and conversion are opposed, and it is still illegal to distribute evangelistic literature in public." Way to pray: Praise God that fines and detentions are now rare and Christians have greater freedom to practice their faith. Pray that unregistered house churches will remain undetected by the government. Pray that Uzbek Christians will forgive family members who reject them because of their faith.
Kaylyn has loved sports, specifically softball, for as long as she can remember. Growing up she loved the experiences she was able to have with the sport. During her college years, she loved the opportunity to use softball as a platform to bring people together from all different backgrounds to enjoy this great sport. Through several trips to the Middle East, she had the opportunity to see softball redeemed in her own life, while also building relationships and breaking down language barriers in a way that provided opportunities to share the Gospel.
Kaylyn now gets to bridge her passions of softball, freedom in Christ, worship & leadership to continue impacting softball players, coaches & fans with the gospel. Kaylyn has loved watching the growth of impact through Athletes in Action Softball over the past 2 years! AIA Softball is now hosting several international events & spiritual retreats for athletes and coaches across many age groups every year.
Way to Pray: Pray for the continued growth of Kaylyn's softball team with Athletes in Action. Pray for the coaches in her Coaches Bible Study to be sustained and surrounded by others in community. Pray for new connections with softball re-entering the Olympics! Kaylyn has a few different mission trips this summer! Please pray for safety, team unity, and that those they serve will see Jesus through the team.

They are looking to grow their volunteer base in order to serve more families in the upstate. If you would like to volunteer with them, the first step is to go through their volunteer training! They have a virtual training coming up on July 31 and an in-person training on August 9. Fore more information or to sign up, visit this link.
