PRAYER REQUESTS
Please pray for Nancy Standishs' son, Jacob. He just finished navy bootcamp, now in Navy A School. Pray for his unbelief and that God would bring another Christian that would friend him and help him see God is real!
Alicia Bailey has asked for prayer for her sister. She is caught up in a lot of worldly lies about herself, others, and God. She claims she is no longer a believer, and ultimately please pray she comes to Jesus she needs his love, and his salvation.
Mark Edwards has asked for prayer for his friend, Clayton, who is being attacked by spiritual warfare, and he is battling anxiety, depression, and worry too. He is in such a need for peace. Pray the that the meds will help him him and that his nightly anxieties will leave.
Garrick Bazukin has asked for prayer over his friend, Shaquita, as she faces cancer.
Chan Wey Dik was recently diagnosed with cancer. Please lift her and her precious family up in prayer during this difficult time.
Please persist in prayer for Dan Lampinen as he continues to battle significant health issues.
GLOBAL NEWS OPPORTUNITY TO PRAY: Nigeria
"The plight of Christians continues to worsen in Nigeria, where in 2019 more than 1,000 Christians were killed by terrorists. According to a December 20, 2019, Wall Street Journal article, 'A slow-motion war is underway…a massacre of Christians, massive in scale and horrific in brutality. And the world has hardly noticed.'
On January 2, 2020, Pastor Lawan Andimi was kidnapped by Boko Haram, an Islamic terrorist group. He was beheaded on January 20, leaving behind his wife and eight children. Also, it has now been two years since Boko Haram kidnapped 17-year old
Leah Sharibu. Leah has repeatedly refused to renounce her faith in Jesus.(via

Way to Pray: Please pray for special grace for this courageous young woman to continue to stand for Christ, and pray for comfort for Pastor Andimi’s family and congregation.
MISSIONARY HIGHLIGHT: Martens
In the summer of 2017, Franz and Kristie moved to Germany to establish a hosted Oasis for Global Workers. Working together with Life Impact Ministries, the Oasis is a private home with room for families to stay for up to 7 days to experience rest and restoration. The Martens offer Pastoral Counseling and Life Coaching with the goal of preventing ministry burnout.
The Martens began their missionary service in 1996, serving with an organization specializing in church planting in the most remote and unreached parts of the world. They have served in Papua New Guinea as a family and have served in a short-term capacity in other countries.
Upon resigning in 2012 with burnout, Franz started a home repair company and Kristie worked for an accounting firm in Panama City Beach, FL. After several years of healing and recovery, they recognized the need to provide care ministries to missionaries and pastors close to their areas of ministry. They joined Life Impact Ministries in 2016 and went back into full-time ministry.
The Martens have 3 grown children and one grandchild living in the United States.
Way to Pray: When people enter our Oasis with many concerns and cares that are weighing them down, sometimes it’s easy to take on their burden as our own. Pray for our effectiveness which stems from our own personal relationships with Jesus. Pray for our grown children’s relationships with Christ.
OPPORTUNITY: to Go!
We are offering several different short term trips this year! These trips include opportunities to serve children in orphan care, evangelize, serve refugees, and more. You can check out all of our trips on the website! Trip applications will be closing soon.
Also, if you are a nurse and are looking to serve internationally, our missionary Joy Anglea needs nurses for an upcoming medical mission trip to Cambodia. For more information, check out her recent newsletter.

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE: Rebuild Upstate
The Julie Valentine Center is an organization that provides free, confidential services to sexual assault and child abuse survivors and their families. As a community organization, they depend on the community to enable them to provide these services to our neighbors.
The Julie Valentine Center depends on great volunteers. From advocating for victims to helping with simple service projects there are always opportunities to lend a helping hand. Without volunteers, their services could not exist. Last year, their volunteers spent more than 9,000 hours volunteering their time to work with clients.
