Mary Ellen is having lumbar spinal fusion surgery on Wednesday, January 22nd. She is scheduled to be at Greenville Memorial at 10 am. She will be in the hospital for 1-3 days depending on how well she does. Please keep her in your prayers.

Patricia Warren Rhea, 85, after a brief illness, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2019 with her loving family by her side. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 beginning at 1:00 pm at Fellowship Greenville Church followed by a celebration of Pat’s life at 2:00 pm. Please see obituary HERE. 

Nancy Standish asks that we be in prayer for her son Jacob. He is in Navy bootcamp in Chicago & is on his 5th week. Please pray for emotional and physical strength to endure & finish strong. He is very homesick & has had moments of wanting to quit. Pray for his unbelief

Zac and Kim Shepperson first experienced Slovakia with their Fellowship Greenville youth group in the summer of 1999, while on a short-term mission trip to the capital city of Bratislava. Their heart has always been for young people, and so it wasn't too surprising when God called them into the movement He began in Eastern Europe through Josiah Venture. God led them back to Slovakia to serve full-time in 2001 with their two girls, Emili and Gwyneth. They now have four children: Emili, Gwyneth, Samuel and Hampton. They work with Kompas Training Center (Josiah Venture's partner organization in Slovakia), training young leaders through a leadership school, conferences, and camps. They live in Zilina and serve in their local church as elder and teachers.

Way to Pray: Pray for our family— Gwyneth started her first year of college at Calvin College (Grand Rapids, Michigan), Hampton started at a new school this fall, Emili in college at Wheaton (Chicago, Illinois), and Sam in high school. We need to finish out our car fund to purchase an updated vehicle. We have 10 of 20,000 already in hand. Pray for God's provision for this family need. 

Our missionary Joy Anglea is looking for nurses, doctors, PAs, NPs, and pharmacists to be a part of a medical mission trip that she will be taking to Cambodia early this summer. The trip cost will be around $2,400 and will be from May 29-June 13. If you are interested, please email Joy at janglea@bmm.org if you are interested in participating.

• Please pray for Katie Foth who is traveling to Sydney, Australia and Chiang Mai, Thailand during the month of January to help provide child care for Cru missionaries who will be attending conferences in those places.
