Lift up those struggling with cancer and illness.

Please pray for struggling marriages.

"In Algeria only 1% of the population are followers of the Cross, and these believers are often persecuted for their faith. Under a controversial law that forbids 'undermining the faith of a Muslim,' a pastor was fined over $800 last year for possessing Bibles. Since November 2017, eight Protestant churches have been closed by the government for failure to have the proper registration. One of these churches had applied for registration in 2013, but the government refused to process their application and has now threatened to demolish the church building. Furthermore, Christians have been arrested for sharing the Gospel of Jesus with Muslims. (via" Source: Frontline Missions

Way to Pray: Pray for God’s grace for these believers as they seek to be faithful to Christ while facing persecution from the government and also their families.

In the summer of 2017, Chad and Cherry Gfeller transitioned to Berlin, Germany to begin work with refugees. Their vision for ministry is to shine the light of the gospel to those in Germany's great city of refuge. Chad has a background in collegiate athletics and coached men's soccer at North Greenville University for over a decade. Chad uses his background in soccer as an avenue to reach and serve refugees.

Chad and Cherry have two young daughters, Quinn and Gracie, who are active in ministry with their parents. Cherry's mother also lives with them in Berlin and actively participates in the work they do.

Way to Pray: Pray for God’s will in the Gfeller's housing. Their contract is up in July, and they are actively seeking if their living situation should change or stay the same. Please pray for those that they have begun discipling, that they would see the love of Jesus through the Gfellers.

This upcoming week we will have three teams out of the country! Please keep these teams in your prayers as they serve others around the world!

The Monterrey, Mexico team will be out of the country from June 14-20. This team is comprised of families that are serving orphaned and vulnerable children in partnership with Back2Back.

The Dominican Republic team will be in La Vega from June 14-22. This team of juniors and seniors in our youth group will be serving the community of La Vega, Dominican Republic through VBS, sports camps, and more in partnership with TEARS ministry. For many on the team, this is their first experience into global missions.

Finally, the Cali team will be serving in Colombia from June 15-22. They will be evangelizing, discipling, and church planting in partnership with E3 Partners.

  • Pray for the Foth's visas, support, and preparations as they move to Australia at the end of 2019.
  • Please pray for Dr. Mung as he begins the process of looking into starting an orphanage in his area of Myanmar.
  • Pray for Joy Anglea as she and her team try to discern God's direction for their next medical mission trip.

World Relief Upstate is a "glocal" (global/local) organization that Fellowship Greenville partners with that works alongside the local church and community to welcome and serve refugees helping them to move from stability to integration. Over the past three years, they have seen hundreds of refugees from three different continents find safety and stability here in the Upstate.

World Relief has several different volunteer needs including road runner and social service advocates, language partners, office/administrative workers, and more! If you are interested in volunteering with World Relief, please contact
