Care Ministry Assistant
This individual will provide administrative support for the Care Team and must have the ability to discern, maintain, and manage sensitive and confidential information. The person will need to have strong organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to details.
Main Objective: Provide administrative support for the Care Team while exhibiting integrity and maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
Job Description:
- Provide administrative support to the Lead Care Pastor, Congregational Care Pastor, and Care Director of Counseling and Recovery
- Manage calendar, email, and travel arrangements for Care Pastors
- Schedule counseling appointments, maintain calendar and payments with FG City Center partnership (and any others) as needed
- Have regular touchpoints with Care Team for communication and prioritization
- Maintain and manage all Care supplies and resources
- Act as Care representative for operational planning and execution of all Care activities and events, including but not limited to:
- Senior Adults (monthly meetings and care for shut-ins)
- Funeral administrative tasks and bereavement care
- Care ministry classes and events
- Prayer team, assisting with content and prayer team event needs
- Weddings, serving as the liaison between those getting married and all staff/ministry areas
- Meet with and assist all benevolence walkins
- Prayer Connection, hospital list, and recovery follow up
- Occasionally serve as a sub for the receptionist
- Responsible for any other function and/or task as assigned by your supervisor
Critical Skills: Ability to discern, maintain, and manage sensitive and confidential information; detail-oriented; self-starter with the ability to complete projects; strong organizational skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Google products with an aptitude to learn other programs as needed.

Job Status: Full-time, 40 hours with some evening and weekend work
